Questions about POS Platform

What is POS Platform?

POS Platform is a browser-based point of sale system for cafés, bakeries and small food businesses in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. It combines an iPad register, a product catalogue, staff PIN login, shifts, receipts and sales history.

What hardware do I need?

An iPad or a computer with a modern web browser. POS Platform runs in the browser, so there is nothing to install. Receipt printers and cash drawers are planned and not yet supported.

Does it work on iPad?

Yes. POS Platform is designed iPad-first, optimised for landscape use at the counter with large touch targets. It also works on desktop computers and larger touchscreens.

Can I manage multiple locations?

Yes. One account manages every location. Products are shared across locations, while prices and availability can be set per location.

Does it support staff PIN login and shifts?

Yes. Each employee signs in to the register with a personal PIN, and cashiers open and close cash shifts before and after selling. Management always requires an owner or manager email login.

Can I start with my current card terminal?

Cash payments are available today. Recording card payments taken on a separate external terminal is coming soon. Integrated card terminals are planned but not available yet.

Is it suitable for businesses in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania?

POS Platform is designed for the Baltic market: EUR pricing, VAT-inclusive prices with VAT shown per rate, and a local timezone per location. You configure your own VAT rates; please confirm your tax setup with your accountant.

Can I manage products and prices by location?

Yes. You keep one product catalogue and set location-specific prices and availability without duplicating products.

Can I start selling live right away?

You can explore the system and run simulated transactions in Test Mode. Live sales will be enabled after the required tax, receipt and payment-readiness checks have been completed. We will provide clear guidance before your business starts processing real transactions.

Which languages are available?

This website is available in English, Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian. The app interface itself is currently in English.

Is it only for cafés?

No. It is built for cafés and coffee shops first, and also fits bakeries, dessert bars, takeaway and quick-service food spots, and simple retail.
